It's going to be 70 degrees here today. Do I garden? I have so much work to do - but it's going to be 70! There's writing and blogging and emailing and more that needs to be done....but it's going to be 70! I have a bunch of azaleas waiting to go in the ground, and plants that should be divided and seeds to be sown. And it is going to be 70!
Oh luscious spring, oh lime-colored leaf-buds and nodding daffodils, bright crocus, sweet Daphne and honeysuckle already blooming, darling daylilies and faithful obedience plants lunging green towards blue skies - Mommy is coming!
Goodbye for now, cyber world. I'm off to the garden where the sun is shining, the soil is warming, wild birds are swarming, the dogs will be dining on little wormies squirming, and yours truly will be smiling until day is done.
The garden has nearly doubled since this shot was taken. I *promise* to get lots more pics up this year. View of house and garden, June 2005:
