I have my doubts about this list. For example, how do they know other animals don't have sex for pleasure? Has anyone asked them? I didn't think so! (And, um, what about other great apes???)

I totally believe it. I think many (if not most) species enjoy the act. From a biologically POV, I'm becoming more and more convinced that orgasm is the POINT of sex - and not reproduction, as many religions would have us believe.

And ducks are known to have penises. In fact, the penises of some ducks are often longer than their bodies.

Haven't these people heard of bonoboes? I haven't looked into it in detail, but I think in highly social mammals you see a lot of non-reproductive sex for purposes of social bonding and conflict resolution.
And yet people will be quoting these factoids for decades to come.
