Hi Gloria,
i'm so very sorry about Bobo. i also lost a pet this week. Socks, a black and white tomcat that i've had for 14 years died yesterday morning. it was heart wrenching. He had been staggering around for a couple days, but i couldn't have him put down. i felt like i'd be killing him. At about 8pm, he staggered over to me and looked up and meowed. So, i picked him up and held him...till about 3am. And, yeah, i cried like a baby each time he rolled over on his side and kneaded my arm with his paws and stared at me. it was like he was saying goodbye. He was definately a part of our family.
sorry..again about Bobo...and sorry for rambling out my own loss.
hugs,
kishaPosted by: kisha at Apr 18, 2008 11:29:06 PM
I can't imagine that Bobo could have had a better life than the one you gave him. I'm sorry for your loss.

My heart goes out to you folks. I know what it's like to lose a pet. I can only imagine that this is so much tougher because Bobo opened your eyes to the joys, sorrows, and constant surprises that come with having a dog in your life. Try to remember all the things he gave you in return for your love and patience. Take care.

Everyone, thank you so so much. You have no idea how comforting your kind words have been to me tonight. Those of you who met Bobo know what an amazing dog he was. Kisha, I am so terribly sorry for your loss too. And, Night, yes, that is a big piece of the pain: sometimes I think I learned my best lessons about life from Bobo.

(((Huggles Glory))) I just came in from work and got the news. I'm so sorry. There are no words to ease the pain. Our pups are like our kids. I look at Sugar and think, any day now... so my heart goes out to you and yours during your grief. Bobo was so very loved my darling friend. You could not have loved him more if you had given birth to him (winks). He knew you were there to the end.

I’m very sorry, Gloria.
I also lost a beloved fur baby yesterday. After nearly 21 years I had to put my cat, Fuzzy, to sleep. He’d been with me since I was in high school. He was a very special cat that came to be with me through a local Salvation Army store. Someone had left him in a box behind the store with other donations. A friend who worked there called me and asked if I wanted him. He was so tiny that he fit in my hand. He really looked like a small ball of fuzz. Words can’t express how much I miss him.Posted by: Sierra at Apr 19, 2008 7:56:59 AM
I was sorry to hear of your loss. It is heartbreaking to lose a part of your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

condolences on your loss, Gloria.
My fur-faced puppy boys are the light of my life and I know the loss of such dear loyal friends is heart wrenching. Dogs know how to teach us the true meaning of love.

I knew Bobo from nearly the first day he came to live at Chez Brame. He had courage....and heart. He had a nobility in him rarely found in any dog... or anyone. He will not be forgotten.

I'm so very sad for your loss! We bring these furbabies into our lives and they become the children of our hearts. I've been through the devistating loss before and I look at my dogs and cats now and my heart aches at the thought that I will lose them one day. They're only here for such a short time so we just have to love and spoil them all we can. Be well.

Oh Gloria --- I am so sorry for your loss. You did your best to help him, and gave him the best dog life possible.
Hugs to you...
