This article should explain why I nominate this couple as perhaps the world's skankiest BDSM couple. One wonders whether any of the people who visited the underage dominatrix realized they were subbing to a minor.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Federal prosecutors on Monday unsealed an indictment against a man and woman accused of training the woman's child to be a dominatrix, selling her services and photographing some of the acts.
U.S. Attorney John Wood said the case is the first in which a parent of the victim has been charged with the commercial sex trafficking of his or her own minor child.
Todd B. Barkau, 35, of New York, and the 44-year-old mother were charged in the seven-count indictment. Both used to live in Blue Springs, Mo. in the same household.
From Jan. 1, 2002, until Feb. 20, 2005, Barkau created a venture to entice the minor to engage in commercial sex acts, according to the indictment.
"The court filings allege that Barkau obtained control of a 12-year-old girl and he groomed, trained and forced her to become a sexual dominatrix..."
No They Did not however they will still be charged with a crime i am the father of this child and lost custody in a divorce there are more indictments coming out in this case for the people that visited the site as well as met her in person i do not agree with this but that is they the prosecutor is going about it as the father of this child skanks is putting it mildly i have pursed justice in this matter for 8 years and justice does prevail given time

You have my absolute utmost sympathy. These people should be put away for a long time for what they did to this child. My heart goes out to her and to you. I hope, with your help, she will be able to recover from this abusive nightmare. *hugs*

The article says they marketed her as a 19-20 year old...the person claiming to be the father writes,

That would open up a lot of interesting can of worms. For example, someone posts a link in a forum and says "hey checkout this 20 year old dommes website." You visit and download a few pics..you're now in possession of child pornography.
And I'm assuming like the underage sex, the fact that her handlers actively deceived clients and web visitors is not going to be a valid defense.

Child abuse of any kind is the saddest thing in the universe. I hope the girl ends up OK. This is just so tragic.

Anon, I have no idea how the law would handle a case where people claim someone is of legal age, and where the girl looks and acts like she's of legal age. I think if I was one of the clients, instead of hiding, I'd join the state's case against the parents and hopefully, make a deal for immunity in exchange for my testimony. I sure wouldn't wait around in hopes that the cops never find me.
