I'd planned to get back to blogging today -- my first official day back from vacation -- but a baaad headcold and the Labor Day weekend have convinced me to hold off on anything major until Tuesday. By then, not only should we all be recovered from our respective holiday barbecues/sales shopping marathons (and complementary torpor), but I might even be able to get through an entire post without sneezing on the screen.
I may post a few random things over the next few days -- a few short news stories and images that have been piling up here -- but next week is where the excitement will be, starting off with another wondrous installment in Cleo DuBois' multi-part autobiography! If you haven't yet read them, catch up (links in the right column) so you can be ready for the next great illustrated essay from one of the world's most fascinating people.
