I'm really going to miss you and this blog during my July blog hiatus. But if ever I needed some time off, it's now. I've been burning the firecracker at both ends, if you get my drift. So in lovely July I plan to see how life feels when I only have two full-time jobs instead of three. I'll still be playing around on FaceBook but won't be answering any blog-related or general email either. Sticking to the basics: clients, close friends and family.
My work plans remain ambitious -- working with my therapy clients and plowing ahead on my book. But without the blog and email to worry about, I should get a whole lot of extra time to lavish on indulgences like playing more with my dogs, reading more books, watching more movies, maybe even working on some garden plans. I even have this crazy idea I might find time to lounge on a deck chair and sip ice tea some afternoons. Wild!
Before I go, I have a BIG favor to ask my wonderful friends, readers, colleagues. PLEASE support the 2011 Sex Blogger Calendar and The Woodhull Foundation, by buying a calendar page. Regular followers may recall I posed for a charity shoot last month. The photo on the left is one of the wondrous results (photographer, Peter Belvin). The photo selected by the Calendar editors is truly gorgeous: Belvin's talent and my shapely nude posterior made beautiful photographic music together. ;)
Even better than having my lovely derriere on your wall, however, are fabulous portraits of 15 other hot models who posed for this year's special BDSM community edition of the calendar; and the chance to support Woodhull, a terrific group that puts your funds to important use in the fight for sexual freedoms for all. Please tweet about it, FB it, and spread word about this pro-BDSM project!
If you want to make sure I know how you feel about me, buy a page in my birthday month of August (yes, I'm Miss, uh, Mistress August) and include a greeting or message for me. If we fill the month up, I'm framing it and hanging it so I can remember you always!
Happy July, everybody. Stay out of trouble and see you inside my mind again on August 1.
