This fascinating image, shot through a telescope, captures one of the estimate 100 as-yet uncontacted, intact native tribes left in the world. The photo popped up in the same show as the previous curvy models, and juxtaposed like that, it bemused me to note that the mother (probably) in this family would probably wear a size 12-14 dress in American clothes, while her daughter is slim but not a stick with a lollypop head, the look our teen girls seem to aim for. Dad's got a gut on him too.
