These photos were sent to me from a friend with a fascinating story: during the renovation of an old house, building contractors found a secret stash of photos in one of the walls. They believe it was hidden in the 1950s, and untouched for 60 years. The contractors gave the pix to my friend, who in turn sent me these copies. They are in such bad shape, I'm wondering if they saw a lot of use before burial! Amazing, rare and awfully cool too.

I turned her upside down to get a better look at the mask and I can't can't figure out what she's wearing. It's freakish!
