Because she wants us to know she forgives him, which is beautiful but doesn't alter the fact that he committed a crime? Because people love to read a good sex story with some rape and perversion for fantasy fodder? I guess in a year where people think 50 Shades of Gray is a guide to the BDSM lifestyle, anything is possible.
